ATL-1 Tactical Drone Lighting System

The ATL-1 is the original F1 Scout Systems tactical drone lighting system, designed for the DJI Avata 2 and built for low-light interior drone operations.

Created from real-world need, the ATL-1 provides both forward-facing illumination and base/downward lighting to help improve visibility when flying through dark rooms, hallways, structures, and confined spaces. Standard drone lighting is often not enough in unpredictable environments, so the ATL-1 was built to give operators a more capable lighting setup when visibility matters.

The ATL-1 uses Nichia 519A LEDs with a forward-facing diffused TIR lens to create a usable beam pattern for interior flight. The body is manufactured from glass fiber reinforced PET, giving the system a strong, lightweight, and rugged structure while maintaining a professional tactical appearance.

Designed and built in-house by F1 Scout Systems, the ATL-1 mounts cleanly to the drone while keeping a compact, purpose-built profile.

This is not just a drone light. It is mission-driven equipment built for operators, first responders, drone teams, and serious pilots who need to see more before sending people into unknown spaces.
